Surviving are his granddaughter, Heather Foster (Jason) of Powdersville; great-grandchildren, Hannah Huffman, Case Burger, and Colby Foster; daughter-in-law, Debbie Ellison (Bill) of Easley; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Hood was predeceased by his son, Charles Frank Hood; and a grandson, Chad Frank Hood.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the church, prior to the service.

Condolence & Memory Journal

So sorry for your loss. Bolt was such a nice man. I always enjoyed talking with him when we would meet. My mother (Mildred Hood Thomas) was Bolt's first cousin and Geneva was my dad's (Charlie Thomas) first cousin..
